We'll even have a look at how we can create our own reflections when there are none around.

It was a little bit embarrassing because I was a bit late for the class, but they were very kind. I loved that I had all the help required to be able to learn new skills it was so amazing and above all the instructor had the wonderful patience to explain everything to us clearly and also took some time to help us fix the settings of our cameras, I definitely loved the class. I'm looking forward to come back 💕

This was one of several images during a New Moon last month. The time was about 11 PM, before the Milky Way was visible. The lens was a Sigma 14mm, f/2.0, on a Sony A7rIV, 10 seconds, ISO: 3200. The illumination comes from lighting in the city of Tonopah, Nevada. The "green" was real, with some increased saturation in LRC.

Well, well there is always a surprise, continuing my Pelican hunt with my Nikon 750 and 300mm lens I decided to go to the bridge that crosses the Santa Clara River near Ventura Harbor and there they where, Pelicans but a long way off and I wanted a different angle , walking back over a bridge I turned and went through the woods, there was no footpath, I entered the bushes trying to get to the river, I never made it but on the way I saw something dark move, I could not figure out what it was b

Darkness comes in many forms ? grief, fear, uncertainty. But it doesn?t last forever. Sometimes, the simple act of hoping, of reaching for peace, is enough. As Dumbledore wisely put it:?Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.?Let that be your reminder today. You don?t need to have all the answers. You don?t need to feel strong every moment. What matters is that you keep going ? that you choose to believe there?s something bette

I met young Miles at Ellis Square while he was doing some rather gymnastic break dancing. Luckily, for me, I was using my Nikon Z7 which allowed me to switch from raw to jpeg giving me 9 frames per second on motor drive. I was shooting aperture preferred and used f/8 the resulting shutter speed was 1/1600 of a second. 9fps sounds fast but I only had 6 nicely composed shots out of 120 exposures.

I had spent the better part of the day moving silently through the edges of the chase looking to photograph deer. It was one of those days that seemed perfect on paper: overcast skies that softened the light, barely a breath of wind, and a camera battery at full charge. But nature is nothing if not humbling. The deer remained ghost-like, unseen despite hours of quiet patience and soft steps.By late afternoon my hopes had dimmed so I began the slow walk back to the car. The path wound through
