On a trip up north a few weeks ago, I planned on a quick stop at the Golden Gate Bridge to capture its beauty and impressive lifelong standing joining two pieces of land. It was a day with an over casted sky with a flat contrast color scheme but it was an opportunity I couldn't waste. I had an idea where to go to capture the shot I had in mind but when I got there I found a spot that produced this shot. It ended being better than the image I had planned for.

I've always been drawn to Antelope Canyon because of other photographers and chose to visit for my birthday this year because I had been told by a guide on a previous trip that April was a good month to capture the infamous light beams that attract photographers to this canyon. So just a few steps into the canyon and there was my first shot. The rich reds and the juxtaposition of sun and stone appeal to me as an fire/earth cusp sign and I truly find the muse in slot canyons. Thank you to the

I wasn't sure I would be getting a good shot of the moon that night with all of the clouds that were lingering along the horizon. It popped up for the perfect alignment with the needle at the top of the Space Needle. My favorite part is how the moonlight is shining on the water. This was taken about 8 miles from the Space Needle on Bainbridge Island.
